Speakeasy Technical Support

Is it me or are hackers getting lazier?

And to any of you people who may have fallen for this, the real technical support people already have your username/password and wouldn't need to get it from you via a e-mail.

I'm way easy to scam. My first thought was that you worked there and were notifying people.

No to mention that real tech support people put spaces after periods as it's proper grammar.I use proper grammar too.

But really, why the fuck does anyone, ever, anywhere, give two shits about someone's E-mail account. They need to get a life if they find someone else's E-mail that exciting. It's like stealing someone's bills out of the mailbox. Woohoo!!!

Actually, I think getting into someone's inbox is a minefield of info. You get to know all sorts of things like whom they bank with, what sites they visit etc. etc. Plus they are likely to use the same password everywhere.

The same with stealing stuff out of a real life mailbox. It's just one step away from identity theft.

You have a good point. But it's pretty lame either way. :(

Actually, that looked really legit and I can imagine a lot of non-internet savvy people falling for it.
